This page is maintained by PROSHOT Adventures to explain how we handle your personal information when you visit our website, become a member, book a shoot, or otherwise interact with us. We are committed to the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, email, phone, address.
- Account details: login email, hashed password, role.
- Booking and membership details: events attended, rounds shot, payments made, scores recorded.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, device, and pages viewed — used only for analytics and security.
How we use it
- To deliver the services you request (bookings, memberships, scoring).
- To send transactional email (receipts, reset links, range updates).
- To send marketing only where you have opted in.
- To meet legal, accounting, and safety obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with processors that help us operate the service (hosting, email delivery, payments), and only to the extent required to provide the service you requested.
Retention
We keep records for as long as your account is active and as long as required by South African tax, accounting, and firearms-related regulations. You may request deletion of marketing-only data at any time.
Your rights

Security
Access to member and admin systems is protected by authentication, role-based access control, row-level security on our database, and encrypted connections (HTTPS) between your browser and our servers.
